What is this place?

It’s my corner of the internet where I can gush, wax philosophic, whine, bitch, moan, and celebrate Michael the way I experience(d) him. You’re welcome to hang out and enjoy; share thoughts; engage in discussion. You’re not allowed to be an asshole.

What kind of MJ content will you post?

I don’t have the energy or fortitude to produce incredible documentaries and commentary like the oodles of other creators out there. I don’t really have a vision yet that’s refined. You can expect literally anything I decide is MJ-related that matters to me here.

What about the allegations?

Fair game. If that’s all you came here for, you’ll likely be disappointed. I don’t make it my life’s mission to browbeat others into believing his innocence. Either they believe him or they don’t. If you’re curious about his innocence, I’m happy to point you in the right direction.

What’s your stance on [controversy]?

If I haven’t written about it yet, you can ask.

What is the biggest myth about Michael you wish you could shut down?

Largely that both the St. Michael Congregation/Goldpants Brigade as I call them and the most ardent critics are likely very wrong about Michael in general. He was not an angel. He was not a demon. He was a human being. Many fans, who love him fervently as I do, can easily lose sight of this. His humanity, with all its peaks and valleys, are what make him an incredible person. He wasn’t one-dimensional.

What’s the most misunderstood thing about him?

I can only speak to what I have personally opined and observed. I don’t think anyone has the singular answer, because we all have a subjective view of him. At the time I wrote this (late 2025) I personally believe that his possible neurodivergence and the discord it creates in every facet of one’s life is probably the thing most misunderstood about him. Fellow neurodivergent folks like myself understand what I mean. It’s everything.

Did you ever meet Michael?

Not that I know of! I did manage to be around a couple of fan forums when he’d pop in and try to engage us without us figuring out who he was (with hilarious results), but that’s the closest I got.

What’s your favorite song?

“Streetwalker.” It’s not even close! That song swallowed me whole the first time I heard it. It was an instant fave and nothing has come close. Many excellent #2 choices, but “Streetwalker” is my jam forever and ever.

What about favorite album?

…Bad. Shocker! I live, breathe, sleep, dream the Bad era. Start to finish. Moonwalker, shiny onesies, and the world’s most beautiful smile.

…Least favorite song?

This might surprise some, and I guess it’s debatable if you count it as a Michael song, but “Show You The Way to Go.”
